Following Mixer's acquisition of streamer Tyler 'Ninja' Blevins, undoubtedly Twitch's largest content creator throughout 2018 and very well the face of 'gaming', the streaming phenom has accrued over 500,000 subscribers on Mixer.com as part of their Free Subscription promotion celebrating his welcome to the platform.
Despite having over 14 million followers and 470 million channel views on Twitch.tv, Ninja seems to be thriving in the new Mixer ecosystem having also reached 460,000 followers and 2.3 million channel views after only one live-stream on the platform.
The team over at Mixer must be quite pleased by the current results of their investment, meanwhile Twitch are surely kicking themselves for letting him slip out of their hands to easily.
